Pele's outstanding contribution to the game has been recognised again, this time by the newly launched International Football Awards. The Brazilian legend has won the first IFA Lifetime Achievement Award, while David Beckham has picked up the Global Football Ambassador Award.
There are 16 other categories to vote for at the website, including European Footballer of the Year, Best International Coach and Best Referee.

Charlton wins BBC Award
Sir Bobby Charlton picked up the 2008 BBC Sports Personality's Lifetime Achievement award tonight. Charlton, 71, helped England to World Cup success in 1966 of course and then led Manchester United to European Cup glory in 1968, scoring twice in the final.
The award, which recognises Sir Bobby's 50 years dedicated to football, was presented to him by brother Jack. Charlton received a standing ovation from the 9,000-capacity audience inside the Liverpool Echo Arena. England 1966 shirts signed by ten of the winning team, including Charlton, and 1968 European Cup shirts are both available in the icons shop.

Torres signs again for Icons
Today we completed our fifth official signing session with the incredible Fernando Torres. Fernando damaged a hamstring this week so had to go for a scan in London when we were supposed to be meeting him. But El Nino was back the next morning, and true gentleman that he is, insisted on doing the signing immediately.
He loved the new images we have of him and we were only too happy to present him with a photo of him scoring the winning goal in Euro 2008 against Germany. We're sure he'll have it on his wall before long – and you can too. Check out our new Torres products; as well as the Euro 2008 goal, there's a great new photo of Fernando after scoring against Everton this season, plus we've reprinted the fantastic image of his first goal for Liverpool. It's a real favourite, and it seems we can't print enough of them.
We've also created a new range of limited edition signed away shirts and signed Champions League shirts.
